Gothgothgoth.
Its not emo. Its not scene. Its definately not hipster. Its gothic people! Whatever happened to good old-fashioned goth? Not that im necissarily bashing the other FASHIONS (cuz yes thats what they are) but... Come on. (srry emo kids <3 <3)
There are many goth subcultures,including cyber (for some reason popular these days), punk, metal, vampire(please dont accosiate with tween craze), romantic& victorian. I myself am a romantic/victorian (NOT STEAMPUNK) but i also tend to pull off the metal style as well. I dont entirely love labels, because they can be confusin. To some people ,& i dont always-in fact, rarely- cohere to the demands of gothic fashion. Combat boots,skinny jeans & black tank tops for me. With a tad of liquid eyeliner, that is all. Since goth is more of a mindset WITH a fashion, there is no need to go all out in both.
Since i have mentioned it, goth mindset does NOT mean you go ou looking for trouble because you have nothing better to do& daddy never hugged you. It doesnt mean youre a weirdo living in a basement worshiping satan, or that you think youre actually a vampire or a werewolf. I could go on. (seriously,people think this) though some of the above may be true, its usually not. So please stop,
