Galleries / Schoolhouse: Ditching Class
Detention's in session — punk uniforms, mohawks, and graffiti on a condemned schoolhouse.
Class is back in session and the curriculum is pure chaos. We found an abandoned schoolhouse — peeling walls, busted railings, graffiti where the honor roll used to be — and turned a cast of rebellious icons loose on it. Welcome to Detention.
Plaid skirts, suspenders, knee socks, a mohawk or two, and combat boots dangling off a concrete ledge: it's the school photo your guidance counselor had nightmares about. The crew lounges and looms across the decay like they pay rent in cigarettes and spite, every frame radiating that specific "you're not supposed to be here" thrill that made the location perfect in the first place.
AntiPretty loves a group shoot that feels like a gang, and this one's got ringleader energy to spare. Punk, moody, gloriously unsupervised — the kind of school spirit that gets the assembly cancelled.
We burned the syllabus. Detention's the only class that matters.
