Galleries / Deanna: Solo Session
One model, one room, no co-stars — Deanna carries the whole frame by herself.
Some shoots lean on a location, a concept, a second body in the frame to bounce off of. A solo session has none of that. It's just Deanna, the lights, and the quiet pressure of being the only thing in the picture worth looking at — which, as it turns out, is no pressure at all for her.
Deanna works the frame like she's been doing it for years, reading the light and finding the angle without being told. There's an ease to a good solo set that's hard to fake: the small adjustments, the chin drop, the weight shifting from one hip to the other, all of it happening in the half-second between frames. She doesn't pose so much as keep moving until the camera catches up.
This is AntiPretty in its purest form — no gimmicks, no crew, no airbrush waiting in post. One model proving she doesn't need a single thing in the room except herself. No co-stars, no apologies, no boring.
