Galleries / Sequins & Salvage
A sequined gown stretched across the hood of a junked Dodge marked SOLD. Sepia glamour in the scrapyard.
Sequins & Salvage is what happens when old-Hollywood glamour wanders into a junkyard and refuses to feel out of place. A glittering gown, strappy heels, and a woman reclining across the hood of a dead Dodge with SOLD scrawled on its windshield — shot in warm sepia so the whole thing looks like a memory somebody glamorized on purpose.
The contrast does the heavy lifting: sequins against rust, couture against a chassis that hasn't run since the last administration, a diamond in a setting of scrap metal. She drapes herself across that hood like it's a chaise at the Chateau Marmont and dares you to notice the difference.
This is the AntiPretty creed in a single frame — glamour doesn't need a clean set, a big budget, or anyone's permission. Give us a wreck and good light and we'll hand you back something that belongs on a wall.
Sold as-is. Worth a fortune anyway.
