Galleries / Fire Jam: Chained to the Coast
Bramani took the rocks before the fire jam lit up — a black bikini, a length of chain, and the Pacific going gold behind her.
Shot at an April fire jam on the San Francisco coast, in the daylight hours before the flames came out. The sun drops behind a sea stack, the tide pulls gold across the water, and then it's just Bramani on the rocks — black bikini, bare feet, and a heavy length of chain she wears like a dare. All cut muscle and salt-wind hair, she braces against the stone like something washed up and unbothered: half castaway, half Andromeda who untied herself. Coast, 2015. No airbrushing, no apologies, no boring.
