Galleries / Lisa: Going Country
Lisa goes country — red pigtails, a white blouse, and a fistful of wildflowers at golden hour.
Lisa goes country, and the genre never recovered. Red hair in pigtails, a soft white blouse, golden-hour light pouring through a hedge of blue blossoms, and a fistful of wildflowers held up like a dare. It reads sweet for exactly one second before her eyes ruin the whole wholesome thing.
The set lives in that gap — the gingham-daydream setup versus the look she's actually giving you. She nibbles a flower, tilts her head, plays the part of the innocent farm sweetheart while making it extremely clear she is nothing of the kind. Sun-warmed, freckled, and quietly up to something.
AntiPretty has a soft spot for subverting the pretty postcard, and this is a clinic. All the trappings of a sweet country shoot, none of the actual innocence. Pour the lemonade; do not turn your back.
Wildflowers optional. Trouble included.
